giveittoyoursister: (z - Kitty!)
Vi had had a had a big weekend planned even more she'd turned into a tiny kitten. Once she had, it'd turned into an even bigger one, even if she'd missed out on all the parts that required heavy lifting. So now she was curled up on the bed, in a deep sleep that belied the fact she'd been zooming around the apartment barely a quarter of an hour ago.

Somehow, despite being the tiniest of tiny kittens, she was taking at least two-thirds of the bed. possibly more.
giveittoyoursister: (Curled up)
You'd think that by now, Vi and Steph may have started connecting some dots about the school dance and started preparing accordingly. But judging from the clothing flung haphazardly around the apartment, no, they definitely had not.

Still half asleep and looking forward to spending a long, lazy weekend in bed, Vi pulled the blankets in tighter around her, curling in closer to Steph to make up for the brazen theft.
giveittoyoursister: (Nice threads)
So, Vi had had plans for tonight, not overly elaborate plans, mostly just dinner in the fanciest restaurant she felt comfortable paying for and a couple of nights in an equally fancy hotel, but still plans.

Which had quite rapidly gone out the window once the pollen had really hit, but Vi was determined to salvage something from those plans, so after finding an (obvious) excuse to (reluctantly) convince Steph to leave the house for an hour half an hour fifteen minutes, then raced about the place stripping and remaking the bed, showering, dressing in her best outfit, and trying to make the place look more atmospheric (which, the bunch of flowers big enough to make her blush every time she looked at it helped) while fighting with her tie and shrugging on her jacket.

Vi had had a very exciting couple of days, especially for being such a small kitty. There was pouncing on Steph, racing around Steph, escaping from Saffron every time she tried to hide her from Steph, riding around on Little Bot, and being carried by Steph.

So it was really no surprise (except maybe to Steph) that she was completely tuckered out by now, and was just sprawled out on top of the covers, lazily batting at that pink flicking thing down near her hind legs.

giveittoyoursister: (z - AU - awake)
Kate woke up and realised something was wrong. Even if she couldn't put her finger on what exactly that something was.

Was it the absence of city sounds outside? The lack of...let's go with creatively covered up smoke damage on the roof? The sheer number of blankets that she was sure she'd remember buying that she was buried under?

Some combination of the above? Something else entirely?

Give her a moment, she'd figure it out eventually.

Not for the first time over the last few days, Vi was having a great time exploring Steph's apartment. At high speed. Just in case something had changed in the minute and a half since she'd last been on top of that shelf, or that counter, or under the bed, or behind the couch.

It was a very important job making sure everything in this place was exactly as it should be.

Not that very much actually was after a tiny pink kitten had zoomed through, around and over it.

[For the girl!]
giveittoyoursister: (z - Weetiny sleepy)
Vi had had plans for after the dance. And it probably went without saying that they'd been sexy plans. However, Vi hadn't accounted for the punch and while she normally had a pretty good idea of her tolerance, she was also used to strong drink tasting like it, instead of lethal sugar, so instead there'd been drunken cuddling and boardgames on the couch until she'd passed out on Steph's shoulder.

On the bright side, she no longer had to worry about an impending hangover, since she was now a skinny, wiry scrap of a thing instinctively curled up around the other warm body on the softest surface she could remember sleeping on.

[For the girl!]

The tiny kitten that was currently Vi had the general idea that there was somewhere she was supposed to be right now, but being a tiny kitten, she couldn't remember where that somewhere was. Especially not when she had important kitten things to be doing, like clambering up every single vertical surface in Steph's apartment then launching herself from them like a furry pink daredevil to pounce on anything that caught her attention.

Sorry for any heart attacks this may have caused over the last few days, Steph.

[Starting get NWS in the comments]
giveittoyoursister: (Looking down at the people)
Because reasons, Vi was maybe spending even more time hanging with Steph than usual at the moment, which meant things like making sure Steph didn't fall back into her terrible eating habits, and while they could very easily live on take-out indefinitely, Vi, y'know, liked having an excuse to cook for her.

And while dinner wasn't shaping up to be anything fancy, the kitchen was smelling like one of the less dubious food stalls back home and Vi was feeling pretty proud of herself.

[For the girl!]
giveittoyoursister: (Hmmph)
Late in the afternoon, shading into the early evening, Vi left herself in Steph's place, a bag of groceries in one arm, beanie-wearing cat draped over her shoulders.

Mostly she'd brought Steph home because Saffron was well and truly Done with her presence for the moment and needed some alone time at the store, but she also wanted to hide the tank she'd made in Sidon's class the other week in with the rest of Steph's clothes for her to find later. Kind of a reverse sneaky theft.

And there was also the part where she was kind of worried about what Steph's fridge looked like after it had been left to it's own devices for a week. The best case scenario was that she wouldn't need to empty it before she put the stuff she'd just bought away.

[For the aforementioned cat wearing a beanie!]
giveittoyoursister: (Deploying protective hoodie)
Vi had woken up on Steph's couch less hungover than she might have been, and in a mood that couldn't really be described as good given the night before, but content, maybe?

At least until she'd seen the contents of Steph's pantry and fridge, and while they certainly weren't the worst she'd ever seen...it was still pretty sure and with much less cause. So with a certain amount of silent judgement, she'd pulled her boots on and headed out on a quick grocery run.

So now she was headed back to Steph's loaded with supplies, even if there was less fresh stuff than she'd have preferred to get, she had doubts it would've been eaten on time.
