29 Chimera Court, Monday Morning

Vi had had a had a big weekend planned even more she'd turned into a tiny kitten. Once she had, it'd turned into an even bigger one, even if she'd missed out on all the parts that required heavy lifting. So now she was curled up on the bed, in a deep sleep that belied the fact she'd been zooming around the apartment barely a quarter of an hour ago.

Somehow, despite being the tiniest of tiny kittens, she was taking at least two-thirds of the bed. possibly more.

"So it's always okay for me to steal your donuts," Steph said with an unrepentant grin, swiping another donut only to break it in half and offer the half she wasn't already nibbling at to Vi.

"I can't really argue with that logic," Vi said, leaning in to take a bite of the donut.

"I am brilliant that way." Steph slid her hand up under the hem of Vi's shirt, running her nails lightly over her skin. "There should be a couple of ham and cheese croissants in there, too. We needed a little protein."

Vi shivered visibly. "You are very brilliant," she said, not caring if that was grammatically correct or not. "Have to figure out a way to thank you."

"I can think of a few ways." Steph pointedly licked a bit of sugar from her lips, gaze steady on Vi's face the whole time. "But you'll need to make sure you keep your strength up first."

Because two could play at that game, Vi brushed her thumb over Steph's lip and licked it, you know just in case there was still any sugar on them. "Yeah, that's pretty important."

Steph laughed and slid her hand further up underneath Vi's shirt, over her abs. "You didn't spend all this time getting me back into the habit of eating regularly for me to not learn the lesson."

"My work here is done," Vi declared airly as she dug through the bag for the croissants and offered one to Steph.

"I hope you're proud of yourself." Steph took the croissant from her, blew her a kiss in thanks, and took a bite. Being a croissant, it promptly shed about three dozen flakes all over her bare skin. "Well, we'll have to get rid of those before we go back to bed."

"Yeah, we will," Vi agreed, taking a bite of her own croissant and looking a lot like she was thinking of biting something else entirely.
